I have joined the Academia Sinica as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Physics, working under the supervision of Prof. Wen-Chen Chang.

My work focuses on:

  • 🔹 Detector development for the ePIC experiment (Zero-Degree Calorimeter)
  • 🔹 Global analysis of pion and kaon Parton Distribution Functions (PDFs)

This aligns closely with my research interests in hadron structure, TMDs, and QCD, particularly in the context of the Electron-Ion Collider (EIC).

The ePIC experiment at BNL will be a next-generation facility for exploring the internal structure of protons, neutrons, and nuclei. The Zero-Degree Calorimeter (ZDC) is a critical forward detector for tagging spectator neutrons and photons, enabling exclusive and diffractive measurements.

On the phenomenology side, the global analysis of pion and kaon PDFs will extend our understanding of the valence and sea quark structure of light mesons — connecting directly to my PhD work on meson tomography using light-front dynamics.

Excited to work at the interface of theory, phenomenology, and experiment — bridging first-principles QCD calculations with cutting-edge detector instrumentation and collider physics.
